Java Tailor-Made Tours Volcano Adventure is a part of the Borneo Wildlife and Java Volcano Adventure 08D/07N Tour. Starting on the 5th day after breakfast, boating to Kumai then transfer to Pangkalan Bun Airport to catch a flight to Surabaya. Upon arrival in Surabaya, we will immediately transfer to the Bromo area. It takes about 3 hours to get to the hotel. Lunch and dinner will be at a local restaurant. Free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
On the 6th day early morning at 3.30am, get up early then the jeep will take you to the most famous point in the world at mount Pananjakan on the edge of the Tengger caldera to see a beautiful sunrise (depending on whether you are lucky or not) with the young volcano of Mount Bromo and Batok with Mount Semeru in the background. After that continue the journey to the active Mount Bromo to climb 245 steps (hours are optional). Return to the hotel for your breakfast. After breakfast then continue the trip to see Whispering Sand, then continue the trip to see the green savanna on the other side of Mount Bromo. Enjoy your time for a few hours before returning to the Hotel.
On the 7th day, after breakfast at the hotel, your free program until it’s time for us to take you down to the East to get closer to Ijen Crater. It takes around 4 – 5 hours to reach Arabica Guesthouse. On the way we will see coffee plantations that were established during the Dutch era. Then check in to Arabica or Katimor hotels. The guesthouse belongs to a plantation company. Dinner at the guest house.
On the 8th day, in the early morning, we will immediately transfer to Paltuding, the starting point to start trekking to the crater. This takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival at the mouth of the crater you will see local residents carrying sulfur on their shoulders with 2 baskets. Enjoy your time to take photos. Back down on foot to reach the parking area. Then continue the journey down towards Banyuwangi. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. After lunch, proceed to cross the Bali Strait and continue the journey to Bali to your hotel. At this point the service ends.
