Java Tailor-Made Tours Bromo is a series of Orangutan Houseboat tours, Bromo, Ijen Crater adventure 6D/5N. Starting after breakfast on the 4th day, boating to Kumai then transfer to Pangkalan bun Airport to catch your flight to Surabaya. Upon arrival in Surabaya, we will immediately transfer to the Bromo area. It takes about 3 hours to get to the hotel. Lunch and dinner will be at a local restaurant. Free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
On the 5th day early morning at 3.30am, get up early and the jeep will take you to the most famous point in the world at mount Pananjakan on the edge of the Tengger caldera to see a beautiful sunrise (depending on whether you are lucky or not) with the young volcanoes of Mount Bromo and Batok with Mount Semeru in the background. After that, continue with a trip to the active Mount Bromo to climb the 245 steps (hours are optional). Then return to the hotel to eat your breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, your free program until it’s time for us to take you down to the East to be closer to Ijen Crater. It takes around 4 – 5 hours to reach Arabica Guesthouse. On the way we will see coffee plantations that were established during the Dutch era. Then check in to Arabica or Katimor hotels. The guesthouse belongs to a plantation company. Then dinner at the guest house.
On the 6th day, early in the morning, we will immediately transfer to Paltuding, the starting point to start trekking to the crater. This takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival at the mouth of the crater you will see local residents carrying sulfur on their shoulders with 2 bamboo baskets. Enjoy your time to take photos. Back down on foot to reach the parking area. Then continue the journey down towards Banyuwangi. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. After lunch drive back to the airport / Hotel Surabaya for the next destination.
