TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK
Day 01: Airport – Kumai – Tanjung Harapan Camp – Proboscis Tour – Houseboat (L, D)
Upon your arrival in Pangkalan Bun Airport direct transfer by car to Kumai. It will take about 20 minutes then transfer to our Deluxe Orangutan Houseboat. On board, crossing Kumai River in approximately 15 minutes to reach Seikonyer River, the main river in Tanjung Puting National Park. Lunch will be provided by our own cook on board. Boating up Sekonyer River to catch up the Orangutan feeding in Tanjung Harapan Camp at 15.00 until 16.00. Afterward, return back to the boat and continue boating up to explore more wildlife such as Proboscis monkeys, Macaque, Silver Langur, birds, etc along the riverbank. Proboscis monkeys are being endemic monkey that can be seen only in Borneo. Dinner and Overnight on our Deluxe Borneo Eco Tour.
Day 02: Houseboat – Pondok Ambung – Camp Leaky – Houseboat (B,L,D)
After breakfast, boating up to Pondok Ambung Camp. On arrival in Pondok Ambung, trekking up to the camp to see the research activities. If the time still permitted you could do trekking up into the forest to see more wildlife. Back to the boat for lunch. After lunch continue boating up to Camp Leaky area, it will pass the black water river. Upon your arrival in camp Leaky, trekking up to the camp to see more orangutan or stop by into the information center to see the research activities and the rule of the camp. At 14.00 continue your trip following the orangutan feeding until 15.00 then back to the boat and boating down to the place where your driver will anchor the houseboat in Crocodile Lake. Dinner and overnight in BorneoEcoTour Houseboat.
Day 03. Houseboat – Pondok Tangguy – Pasalat Reforestation – Tanjung Harapan Camp – Tanjung Harapan Village – Nipa Palm Area. (B,L, D)
After breakfast, boating down the river to the second rehabilitation camp called Pondok Tangguy. On arrival in Pondok Tanggui trekking up to the camp to catch up the orangutan feeding at 09.00 AM. Enjoy your time until 10.00 AM then back to the boat and boating down to Pasalat Camp for your Carbon Offsetting program. Here you will plant a tree to contribute our green project. This project we share with our clients as responsible tourist to our environment as this project will help you to pay all the carbon we had released in our whole life with the Oxygen produced from the process of the photosynthesis of the tree you plant. Enjoy your time until we return you back to the boat then continue boating down direct to Tanjung Harapan Camp for visiting the last orangutan feeding at 15.00 in the Afternoon. Enjoy the situation till 16.00 pm. Back to the camp and if it is still enough time crossing to Tanjung Harapan village to see the Malayan settlement activities in the Afternoon. Back to the boat and boating down directly to Nipa Palm area to see thousand of firefly. Lunch will be served en-route by our own cook. Dinner and overnight on boat.
Day 04 Houseboat – Kumai – Airport (B)
After breakfast, boating down to Kumai then transfer to Pangkalan bun Airport for your next destination. Tour End(B)
